Real estate transactions in Dubai amounted to more than 2.6 billion dirhams, at the beginning of the week, as the Land and Property Department witnessed, on Monday, the registration of 691 pledges of allegiance at a value of 1.81 billion dirhams, including 43 pledges of allegiance to lands, at a value of 249.95 million dirhams, and 648 pledges of allegiance to apartments and villas, at a value of 1.56 billion dirhams.
Al-Jaddaf area dominated the most important land sales, with a value of 39 million dirhams, 27 million dirhams, and 25 million dirhams. Al-Habibiya 5th district topped the regions in terms of the number of sales with 17 sales at a value of 40 million dirhams, followed by the city of “Hind 4” with 4 sales at a value of 4 million dirhams, and a third in the airport city with 4 sales at a value of 17 million dirhams.
As for the most important sales of apartments and villas, it came with a sale of 80 million dirhams in the “Island 2” area, as the most important sale, followed by a sale in the same area with 64 million dirhams, and finally a sale of 49 million dirhams in the “Al Thanyah Al-Awwal” area.
Al Barsha, south of the fourth district, topped the areas in terms of the number of sales of apartments and villas, as it recorded 134 pledges of allegiance, at a value of 109 million dirhams, followed by the Business Bay region, with 51 pledges of allegiance, at a value of 102 million dirhams, and a third in the “Al Thanyah Fifth” region, with 46 pledges of allegiance, at a value of 128 million dirhams.
Mortgages recorded 709.5 million dirhams, including 20 mortgages for land at a value of 548.11 million dirhams, and 67 mortgages for villas and apartments at a value of 161.39 million dirhams.
As for donations, 101 donations with a value of 100.53 million dirhams were recorded, the most important of which were in Wadi Al-Safa 5 with a value of 43 million dirhams, and another in the Al-Jaddaf area with a value of 19 million dirhams.
