Sharjah Chamber considers strengthening economic cooperation with Serbia and Benin

The Sharjah Chamber of Commerce and Industry (SCCI), during its meeting with high level official delegations from the Republic of Serbia and the Republic of Benin, discussed ways to develop economic cooperation and trade relations and promote joint investment with Sharjah and the private business community.

The Chairman of the Sharjah Chamber of Commerce and Industry (SCCI) met with the Ambassador of the Republic of Serbia to the UAE in the presence of the Director General of the Chamber and Advisor on Relations with the Commonwealth of Independent States.

He stressed the keenness of the Sharjah Chamber to push forward the bilateral economic and trade relations between Sharjah and Serbia to further growth and prosperity, thus establishing more positive cooperation and investment that serves the common interests of the two sides and enhances partnership opportunities between UAE and Serbian business communities. He pointed out the Chamber’s intention to study the organization of a trade mission to Belgrade within the annual Chamber of the Chamber’s missions to help investors and businessmen to invest in vital sectors and to inform them of the possibilities and opportunities in Sharjah and to open joint investment channels to benefit the growth of the economic sector of the two friendly countries.

He pointed to the existence of many fields and opportunities for cooperation between his country and the UAE. He pointed out his country’s interest in enhancing cooperation and trade relations with Sharjah and pushing it forward in the interest of both parties.

The Chamber also discussed ways of developing economic cooperation with the consulate of the Republic of Benin to the State during the meeting which was held with the Consul of the Republic of Benin in the presence of the Assistant Director General for the Services Sector.

The two sides also discussed means of developing economic cooperation and trade opportunities, enhancing the means of communication between the two countries’ business communities and discussing a number of issues of common interest that contribute to boosting trade, investment and industrial cooperation between Sharjah and Benin. Each side.

The Chairman of the Board urged the Consul of Benin to encourage businessmen to take advantage of the investment opportunities offered by Sharjah as a distinguished regional economic center for businessmen from all over the world, as well as the economic diversification policy in the Emirate, its advanced logistic services, a pioneering banking system, legislation and laws, .

For his part, the Consul stressed his country’s keenness to strengthen relations with the UAE at all levels, especially in the field of economy, trade and investment.
