Opportunities for partnership in renewable energy and infrastructure are the subject of the UAE-Italy Business Forum

The UAE-Italian Business Forum was held in Dubai today, under the chairmanship of HE Sultan bin Saeed Al Mansouri, Minister of Economy and Luigi de Mayo, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Economic Development, Labor and Social Policy of the Republic of Italy, in the presence of a number of officials and businessmen from both countries.
The forum will be held under the patronage of the Ministry of Economy in cooperation with the Italian Embassy in the UAE, the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Dubai and a number of business and investment entities in Italy as part of the Italian delegation’s official visit to Luigi de Mayo and the participation of senior Italian government officials, For more than 200 of the most important Italian companies and investment and trade agencies in Italy.
The forum discussed ways to increase intra-trade, cooperation and exchange of experiences in the fields of innovation and small and medium enterprises, and discuss opportunities for partnership and exchange of knowledge in the sectors of technology, infrastructure, renewable energy and advanced industries, with a focus on enhancing private sector opportunities in developing the partnership. On the sidelines of the forum, two memorandums of understanding were signed in the fields of innovation, small and medium enterprises, emerging companies and circular economy.
