Abu Dhabi, March 10: The Cyber Security Council will participate in the Gulf Information Security Exhibition and Conference “GISEC” 2023, through a special pavilion, during the period from March 14 to 16 at the Dubai World Trade Center.
The Cyber Security Council reviews many events, activities and initiatives, including the “National Cyber Pulse” initiative, which aims to promote and raise awareness of good cyber security practices for various segments of society in the UAE, through educational and interactive cyber workshops that include workshops with accredited certificates.
The Cyber Security Council also reviews the “Future Leaders Program in Cyber Security”, which aims to enable leaders from local and federal governments within the country to manage these cyber risks in their organizations by better understanding the importance of cyber security and the impact of cyber attacks on their sectors.
The Council will hold many cyber trainings and exercises, including the World Cyber Security Championship, the Cyberthon Challenge, and the Exploitation Exercise. Strategic partnerships with both government and private agencies through signing a number of memorandums of understanding.
The council aims to make these initiatives and events an enabling factor for the safe digital economy and transformation based on the visions of the wise leadership to build a system that provides a decent and safe life for all.
It is worth noting that the World Cyber Security Championship is a cyber championship and competition that aims to spread the culture of cyber security among members of society who represent the first line of defense in protecting digital space and responding to cyber attacks with awareness and high efficiency.
The phishing exercise aims to discover the gaps in the available systems through a group of hackers and cybersecurity experts, while the “Cyberthon” challenge aims to develop cyber capabilities through many different challenges in various fields of cyber security.
