The Saudi Organization for Industrial Estates and Technology Zones (MODON) revealed a significant increase of 10% in the number of new factories in Jeddah’s 3rd Industrial City by the end of last year 2017 compared to the previous year 2016.
The number of contracts in the third industrial city in Jeddah reached (522) contracts, he explained that the reason for the increase in this number in the city which was established in 2012 on an area of ​​(80) million m 2, (24 million square meters), has attracted a large number of investors and industrialists because of its integrated services and facilities, attractive investment environment, innovative design and ideal location near the cities of Jeddah and Makkah, The second industrial city is connected via a link road.
Al-Taaimi said that the growth in the number of factories in Madan industrial cities in general and in Jeddah Industrial City in particular was based on Madan’s strategic plans to cooperate and involve the private sector in all its operations to reach the highest international standards in the level of services provided by them To its industrial partners and investors, to achieve its strategic objectives, and contribute to the achievement of the national transformation program and the vision of the Kingdom 2030.
The third industrial city in Jeddah witnessed the completion of the construction of (32) prefabricated factories, 12 of them with an area of ​​(900) m 2, in addition to the establishment of (20) other ready factory with an area of ​​(450) m 2 and the development of the first two parts And the completion of the development of the first phase of the first part of them, and completion of more than (67%) of the road intersections project link to the city.
