“Ma’aden” and “Sar” sign agreement to transfer “molten sulfur” from “East” to “Waed North”

Ma’aden has signed an agreement with Saudi Railways Company SAAR to provide services for the transfer of molten sulfur from Saudi Aramco’s factories in the Eastern Province to Ma’aden’s North Waed Company for phosphate in the northern city of Waad, And phosphoric acid from the city of the promise of the north to the city of Ras al-Khair Industrial.
In accordance with the new agreement, SARAR will provide a fleet of trains dedicated to the transfer of molten sulfur from the east of the Kingdom to its north in the city of Waad al-Shamal, as well as the transfer of phosphoric acid from the north of the Kingdom to the company’s industrial facilities in Ras al- Khair city through a fleet of trailers It is characterized by thermal insulation systems and safety equipment, including safety valves for combustion during transportation, as well as heating systems in each vehicle.
The agreement was signed by Ma’aden, President of Ma’aden and the North Phosphate Company, Engineer Hamad Al-Rashidi, and signed by SARAR CEO Dr. Bashar Al Malik.
“Ma’aden continues to implement the country’s goals as the mining sector is one of the engines of the vision of the Kingdom of 2030, which is constantly monitored by the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz and His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed Bin Salman, God save them.
For his part, Eng. Hamad Al-Rashidi said that the partnership between Ma’aden and Sar represents a model for integrated work between the major sectors in the Kingdom, adding that the agreement will have its industrial and production implications, thus enhancing the Kingdom’s permanent presence in the global mining markets.
The agreement, which was signed today at the headquarters of Ma’aden in Riyadh, is part of Ma’aden’s efforts to strengthen its operational capabilities in line with its pioneering role in building the mining sector, which is the third pillar of the Saudi industry.
