The permanent exhibition of local industries, held at the Sharjah Chamber of Commerce and Industry, promotes the support programs for the industrial sector, which the Chamber has been launching to promote the economic sectors in general and the industrial sector in particular in the Emirate.
The exhibition includes a group of industrial companies operating in the Emirate of Sharjah and the idea of displaying the products of those companies and factories in order to promote them by giving the opportunity to all delegations visiting the Chamber to see the exhibition stands.
HE Mohammed Ahmed Amin Al Awadhi, Director General of the Chamber, said that the permanent exhibition of local industries is one of the most important initiatives of the Sharjah Center for Export Development of the Chamber, where it is the largest permanent industrial exhibition in the Middle East and includes 191 exhibition stands covering 30 areas in industrial sectors such as materials Food, electrical, chemical, building materials, sanitary ware, plastic products, medicine, oil and gas equipment, etc. It is in the interest of promoting trade exchange between the Emirate of Sharjah and the world.
He pointed out that the factories present in the exhibition enjoy the support provided by the Chamber, through the possibility of participating in many internal and external exhibitions and participation in foreign trade missions organized by the Sharjah Export Development Center annually in addition to the exhibition is open to universities and academic institutions and all interested in the sector Commercial and industrial in order to provide an ideal stimulating environment for entrepreneurs.
Al Awadhi pointed out that the industrial sector in the Emirate of Sharjah has received wide attention since decades ago, as a result of the vision of His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, on the importance of this sector and its positive contributions to the emirate’s overall output and its economic and social dimensions to society. The Emirate of Sharjah is still characterized by the availability of specialized industrial cities for various industrial economic sectors, especially small and medium in addition to its geographical location and proximity to important ports and airports, which made it a distinct industrial environment Attracted attracting major international companies and contributed to the acceleration of industrial development.
For his part, Abdul Aziz Shattaf, Assistant Director General of Member Services Sector, Director of Sharjah Export Development Center, said that the center has played a key role since its establishment to provide an ideal supportive and developed environment for local exports to more than 2000 industrial establishments affiliated to the center through a variety of services provided to encourage industrial facilities and exporters. To raise their competitiveness in foreign markets and to respond to regional and international marketing opportunities through many initiatives and promotional events, which is the permanent exhibition of local industries one of the most important initiatives aimed at marketing products Ana locally and abroad, as well as provided by the Center to provide the means of export and benefit from the integrated database solutions so as to contribute to raising export knowledge, and the provision of credit guarantees and technical support for exports.
