Franchise World Expo 2018 concludes with new successes

Abu Dhabi Chamber of Commerce and Industry (ADCCI) held its sixth session at the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Center (ADNEC), which attracted more than 5,000 visitors and participants. Franchise companies from around the world, as well as the investment opportunities it offers to entrepreneurs, young people and companies in the UAE. Director General of the Abu Dhabi Chamber of Commerce and Industry (ADCCI), said: “The Franchise 2018 has once again confirmed that it is one of the most important franchise exhibitions, stressing its importance in enhancing the investment and business environment and introducing brand participants to empower local companies. During the days of the exhibition, many cooperation agreements were signed between franchising companies, franchises and local, regional and international companies, which reflected the investment importance of this event and its role in enhancing the economic mobility process and contributing to diversifying the fields of investment and trade to include many sectors . The discussions and work of the conference contributed to supporting entrepreneurs and young citizens, encouraging them to benefit from Franchise projects, raising awareness of this sector as a means of developing investment and business environment, and providing opportunities for successful partnerships between foreign companies, entrepreneurs and small and medium enterprises in the country. On the other hand, the exhibition witnessed the signing of several franchising agreements between the owners of trademarks and entrepreneurs from different participating countries in line with the objectives of Franchise 2018 to support small and medium businesses and expand the scope of local and international companies.  The agreement includes several UAE brands: Sushina, a UAE-style Japanese restaurant, one of the projects funded by the Khalifa Fund for Enterprise Development. Mansour Al Husani, owner of the project, signed an agreement with Mohammed Al Khouri, one of the UAE investors, to use his trademark within the UAE.
