“Saudi Anti-Corruption” announces the recovery of hundreds of looted billions

The Saudi Anti-Corruption Commission announced the recovery of hundreds of billions looted to the state treasury in various corruption cases.

“The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia is leading a war to combat corruption and return the looted money to the state treasury,” Majid Al-Qasabi, the Saudi Minister of Information, said – in statements reported by the Saudi (Al-Ikhbaria) channel today.

He pointed out that the looted funds are originally returned to citizens through infrastructure projects, and are returned to the state treasury, where they are recorded within the revenues and announced in the budget each year and re-pumped into the state budgets.
