The US space agency (NASA) announced Saturday that the launch of its new giant rocket to the moon, as part of the expected experimental mission, “Artemis 1”, will not take place on Tuesday as scheduled due to the formation of a storm.
Under the threat of Tropical Storm Yan, currently in southern Jamaica, NASA must prepare to return the rocket to its primary location in the assembly building.
The storm is expected to intensify in the coming days and head upwards towards the Gulf of Mexico, passing through Florida, where the Kennedy Space Center is scheduled to launch.
