A delegation from the Egyptian Ministry of Interior reviews the development efforts of the Abu Dhabi Police

ABU DHABI, February 17: A delegation from the Egyptian Ministry of Interior, headed by Major General Mohamed Ahmed Mohamed Abu Zahra, Deputy Director of the College of Training and Development at the Police Training Academy, was briefed on the development efforts of the Abu Dhabi Police and the systems it implements in accordance with international best practices.

Brigadier General Dr. Rashid Mohammed Burshid, Deputy Director of the Saif bin Zayed Academy for Police and Security Sciences, welcomed the delegation’s visit to the academy. During the meeting, they discussed coordination, joint cooperation and exchange of experiences in various fields of security training, in the presence of department directors.

The visiting delegation listened to an explanation about the General Command of Abu Dhabi Police and the Saif Bin Zayed Academy for Police and Security Sciences through a presentation praising the great developmental achievements of the Abu Dhabi Police in the areas of training by following the best international standards.

During their visit to the Center for Strategy and Institutional Development at Abu Dhabi Police, the delegation was briefed on the center’s goals and efforts to achieve the vision and mission of Abu Dhabi Police, the institutional performance management mechanism, the project management system, the systems and programs for strategy management and performance development, and the operational plans system in force at the Abu Dhabi Police General Headquarters.

The delegation also visited the Safe City Center and listened to an explanation about smart technologies and systems and the mechanism of work and their connection to towers and cameras by adopting control systems in the center and innovative systems in traffic safety management.

The Egyptian delegation was briefed on the development efforts in the Forensic Evidence Department, where it met Brigadier General Khamis Rashid Al Kaabi, Director of the Forensic Evidence Department, who gave an explanation about the department’s tasks in detecting crime using modern forensic sciences and the use of the latest advanced devices and equipment.

The delegation visited the Operations Department of the Central Operations Sector. Brigadier General Nasser Suleiman Al-Maskari, Director of Operations Department, gave an explanation about the work procedures by following the best mechanisms and advanced technologies, the tasks of the Command and Control Center in the Operations Department, the role of the operations room, the workflow mechanism, and the services provided by the center to the public around the clock, under the supervision of a national cadre on He is highly qualified and receives daily traffic, criminal and other calls in several languages. During the tour, he learned about advanced systems and programs, how to deal with crises and the mechanism for receiving communications.

The summer delegation was briefed on the tasks of the Capital Police Directorate in the criminal security sector, and was received by Colonel Hamad Abdullah Al Neyadi, Director of the Capital Police Directorate, stressing the Abu Dhabi Police’s keenness to enhance cooperation and joint coordination between the two countries in the areas of police and security work.

The delegation learned about the nature of the work of the departments and the technical programs used in the presence of Colonel Muhammad Ali Al Dhaheri, Deputy Director of the Capital Police Directorate for Police Station Affairs, and Colonel Saeed Humaid Al Dhaheri, Deputy Director of the Capital Police Directorate for Administrative Affairs and Operations, the directors of the centers, and a number of officers.
