The European Investment Bank (EIB), Dario Scanpico, announced that the bank is preparing and preparing economic studies to finance 15 projects in Jordan with a total funding of 850 million euros in the sectors of water, sanitation, public transport, renewable energy, small and medium enterprises and micro enterprises. This came during the opening session of the 18th annual European Investment Bank conference in Amman to discuss the role of the bank in improving the living conditions in the southern Mediterranean countries, under the title of improving life and creating new opportunities – the EIB’s initiative on economic resilience. The bank has a long-term relationship with Jordan, and the bank has provided 480 million euros for a large number of projects, he said.
