FAKE NEWS

The word “FAKE NEWS” was adopted as a new word in the American dictionary. It was considered the word for the year not only for its wide circulation around the world, but for its strong impact and the strength of the man who said it, where he defied the most powerful mechanisms of the modern age “Media”. In one of his press confesses US President Trump, refused to answer a question to the correspondent of the “CNN” and point in him saying “you are fake news.”  Despite the fact that the situation is old and going on for about a year and a half, the American media has not been able to gain the confidence of the world again and the fake news issued by these media institutions is questionable.

 The US media is trying to improve its image in public opinion to remain the most authoritative machine and dominate the changing world events, especially commercial and economic interests. American media organizations are trying to blame the social media, which in turn are the most important promoters of rumors and fake news.

We are not to blame the international media institutions that adopt fake news policies to promote an economy at the expense of another. Confidence is the only trading and international currency in the field of information and cannot be abandoned for any gain or pressure. A free and honest media earns trust and builds a long-term relationship with them. For us in “Media IN”, trust is the foundation of action. An economy that relies on the promotion of its news on reliable media will certainly grow to be a trustworthy economy. The message here is not only for the world’s giant media organizations, but also for the tiny public relations offices that have been awarded contracts to write news and press releases to government agencies and private companies, but have not invested in their staff. Some of these offices make “fake news” only to ensure continuity of contracts without considering the impact of that news on the economy in general. For us, we have taken our decision to put a number of these offices on the blacklist as promoters of fake news and will not accept any news unless the policy of trust and credibility.
