Emirates Bank launches three certificates to enhance ‘Artificial Intelligence’

Emirates Institute for Banking and Financial Studies – the leading regional institution in the field of education, banking and finance – has signed a strategic memorandum of understanding with the Waterhouse Coopers Academy, which focuses on improving the knowledge and skills of finance and business professionals.
The MoU provides for the launching of three new short-term training courses for specialized technical expertise in financial technology, Block Chen and data analysis in line with the Institute’s 2019 strategy to allocate 27% of its “Artificial Intelligence” training programs and financial technology sector to qualify and keep up with the banking sector .
The agreement was signed by Jamal Al Jasmi, Director General of the Institute and Amanda Line of PricewaterhouseCoopers Academy Middle East.
PricewaterhouseCoopers Middle East Academy will prepare the educational content of the three certification programs and present it in collaboration with the Emirates Institute for Banking and Financial Studies. The successful candidates will receive their certificates after completing the intensive lectures and the preparatory study of the courses and case studies provided after the courses and then submit the examinations according to specializations.
Jamal Al Jasmi said that the Institute is moving forward in building specialized national banking and financial cadres, which are in line with the technological revolution that has taken place in the banking sector and can contribute efficiently and effectively to the financial and economic development plans.
