Ajman Economy encourages citizens to start their business journey

The Department of Economic Development in Ajman organized a workshop entitled “How to Start Your Project?” In cooperation with the Khalifa Fund for Enterprise Development aimed at young people who wish to establish their projects.
During the workshop, Mr. Al Hammadi explained the basic steps to start a successful business and introduced participants to the most important services provided by the Fund to the national entrepreneurs.
Aisha Ahmed Kajour, Director of SME Development Department, emphasized the active role of this type of workshop in encouraging citizens to start their projects by providing them with basic information and tools on how to implement the feasibility study and the most important investment opportunities available. High demand in the market.
Kajour noted the keenness of the department through a series of workshops and continuous meetings with entrepreneurs to clarify the laws and procedures related to the establishment of business, in addition to highlighting the privileges and facilities provided by the Department and other government agencies for entrepreneurs.
Mr. Ahmed Al Rumaithi, Senior Manager of the Fund’s Entrepreneurship Development Department, pointed out the importance of participating in the workshops, which are aimed mainly at promoting the entrepreneurial culture, and providing entrepreneurs with new ideas and projects with the key information that forms the cornerstone of their business and small and medium enterprises. Emphasized the importance of the Fund as a local and global model in supporting young entrepreneurs and encouraging them to innovate and implement their projects in order to maintain their continuity and ensure their sustainable growth.
The workshop included two main aspects: the first is the definition of Khalifa Fund and the advisory, financing and marketing services it provides to the entrepreneurs. The second part is to train the participants on the fundamentals of establishing the business through practical applications in the areas of planning, marketing, accounting, competition and project management.
The workshop comes within the framework of joint efforts between the Ajman Economy and Khalifa Fund to provide young people with the basic knowledge and skills they need to start their business journey, which will positively impact citizens’ contribution to economic activity and contribute to promoting growth in various sectors and activities of the national economy.
