Algeria’s economic growth stabilized at 1.5 percent in 2018.
Algeria’s agriculture and fishing sector reported a growth rate of 6 percent last year, up from 1 percent in 2017. The hydrocarbon sector fell by 6.2 percent in 2018 from 2.6 percent in 2017, according to figures from the Algerian Bureau of Statistics.
The growth rate of Algeria is mainly based on the growth of the sectors of agriculture, construction, public works, irrigation, petroleum public works, commercial services and industry.
