Tomorrow 21 “Third Axis”

The Abu Dhabi Development Program, which was adopted by His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi, received the attention of the Arab and international press with the interest of the financial value of the program, which reached a budget of 50 billion dirhams for the next three years. As a strong start to the program, the Commission allocated 20 billion dirhams of the development package for the first year 2019 for the disbursement of the economic package. This strong allocation demonstrates the leadership’s awareness in Abu Dhabi of the importance of planning ahead of the economy, which will facilitate the business of Abu Dhabi residents and create competitive opportunities for global investments to guide them towards the UAE capital.

The Abu Dhabi Program for Development Accelerators (Tomorrow 21) will consist of four axes. Of course all four axes are important and need a detailed reading will be covered in subsequent articles. But the third axis draws attention in a way that calls for travel to the near future and summarizes the title of the program in full. The designation of the program “Tomorrow 21” means near the year 2021 as if tomorrow. The third axes though, focuses on the development of the knowledge and innovation system in Abu Dhabi and supports research centers in the fields of modern technology for talent development. In terms of the fundamentals and elements of the third axis, Abu Dhabi is moving towards competing with its peers from the world’s economic cities, which have established their future global centers to remain at the top in the field of modern technology, such as Beijing, which announce to build an industrial intelligence research center. By attracting international talent in the field of Artificial Intelligence, with a training incubator established in the quality and value of Abu Dhabi, there will be all the means of economic development that any successful economist might dream of. “Tomorrow 21” will be a platform to launch a portfolio of global technology projects and products, such as Abu Dhabi a new smart phone competing with “Huawei” and “Galaxy”

Abu Dhabi plans to always be the best, the same planning that is taking off now Seoul, the capital of Korea, which is proud of Samsung products that compete with global products such as Nokia Europe and Sony Japanese and American products are no longer remembered by some, especially from the new generation of young people of this rapid age. When modern governments aim to sustain sustainability and sustain their growth, they must put global innovation indicators and knowledge economy indicators within their strategic planning range. In the UAE’s relentless quest to celebrate the export of the last barrel of oil, it must be preceded by many celebrations to export smart UAE phones and other future products that the world is currently competing for.
