His Highness Sheikh Maktoum bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, First Deputy Ruler of Dubai, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Finance, congratulated the government and people of the People’s Republic of China on the 74th anniversary of the founding of the Republic.
His Highness said on the “X” platform: “We congratulate the government and people of the People’s Republic of China on the 74th anniversary of the founding of the Republic. China is the largest trading partner of the UAE, and the UAE is China’s first Arab trading partner in non-oil trade.”
He added, “Last year we witnessed trade growth of 27%, bringing non-oil trade to 284 billion dirhams between the two countries. We share many common goals and aspirations for the future with China. Today we are working to consolidate this relationship and develop it economically, commercially and culturally, and we wish the Chinese people continued prosperity and development.”
