Canadian Trade Minister visits Indonesia to boost economic ties

The Canadian Embassy in Jakarta announced Friday that Canadian Minister of International Trade, Export Promotion, Small Business and Economic Development Mary Ng will visit Indonesia next Monday to strengthen economic relations in the Indo-Pacific region.

The Indonesian news agency Antara quoted the embassy statement today that Minister Ng will visit Jakarta from October 10 to 12, during which she will meet with officials of the Indonesian government and the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) to strengthen Canadian trade and investment relations in the Indo-Pacific region.

According to the embassy, ​​Minister Ng will also meet with corporate leaders, including businesswomen, to enhance trade and bilateral relations between Canada and Indonesia.
