Tunisian Foreign Minister meets with ECOWAS Chairman

Tunisian Foreign Minister Khamis Jahnawi met today with ECOWAS President John Claude Cassipro, who is currently visiting Tunisia.
During a press conference, Kasipro stressed that his visit aims at enhancing cooperation between the Group and Tunisia and following up on the implementation of the agreement concluded in November 2017. He said the group is open to developing mutual relations of exchange in various fields such as agriculture, health, energy, renewable energies and education.
For his part, Al-Jahnawi announced the agreement on forming a legal framework that will allow Tunisian businessmen and bodies to communicate with the 15-nation Economic Community of West African States.
