$ 11.1 billion worth of food and beverage trade in Jafza

The volume of trade in the Jebel Ali Free Zone (JAFZA) in the food and beverage sector increased to 3.5 million metric tons with a value of AED 11.1 billion or 17.85% and 15.37% of the total volume and value of trade in the food and beverage sector in Dubai respectively .
This continued growth in the sector is a confirmation of investor confidence in the UAE, which offers one of the most favorable environments for business in the Middle East thanks to the high level of income and large investments in the retail sector in the country during the past few years, according to a recent report issued by Berence Monitor International “He said.
The food and beverage sector is one of the most important sectors in the Jebel Ali Free Zone, which hosts more than 570 companies from 75 countries including Fortune 500 companies such as Unilever, Mars and other companies.
