12% increase in the proportion of exports of Jordan Amman Chamber of Industry

According to statistical data, exports of Jordan’s Chamber of Industry increased by 12% during the past nine months, driven by the increase of exports of eight sectors. Exports jumped to 3.39 billion dinars compared to 2.804 billion dinars in the same period of last year 2017. India, Iraq, Of the half of the Chamber’s exports during the last nine months of this year, recording a value of 1.706 billion dinars.
The data showed an increase in the chamber’s exports to the Iraqi market during the last nine months of this year by 42 percent to record 451 million dinars compared to 316 million dinars for the same period last year. Exports to India increased by 15 percent, making it the Arab and foreign countries’ Million dinars compared to 396 million dinars for the same period last year.
The chamber’s exports to the United States also rose by 9 percent to 388 million dinars in the nine months of this year compared to 354 million dinars for the same period last year.
The Chamber’s exports to Palestine during the last nine months of this year increased by 60 percent, amounting to 193 million dinars compared to 120 million dinars for the same period last year.
The exports of the Amman Chamber of Industry during the last nine months of this year to Saudi Arabia remained stable compared to the same period last year, reaching 374 million dinars.
