140,000 homes in Saudi soup connected to broadband by 2020

Saudi Arabia’s Ministry of Communications and Information Technology (MCIT) aims to reach fiber-optic broadband services to more than 140,000 homes in Al-Ahsa by the end of 2020.
Where the ministry has several projects for the deployment of wireless broadband services in remote areas, which reached more than 100 villages and migration in the province.
The Ministry aims to accelerate the digital transformation and provide all the capabilities and tools that contribute to improving the quality of services provided to citizens and residents of the customers in all sectors in line with the strategy of “Customer First” in its efforts to achieve the objectives of the vision of the Kingdom 2030.
