AIR Industry Contributes Greatly to Dubai Economy- Says ”expert”

The air industry has contributed immensely to the economy of Dubai, where the emirate has an average of 1,500 commercial flights per day, reflecting the continued growth and expansion of the emirate’s aerospace industry and its remarkable success story in a relatively short period of time thanks to vision and leadership.

Speaking at the second session of the Air Traffic Control Forum on the second day of the 19th edition of the Airport Show at the Dubai International Convention and Exhibition Center, he said that the Dubai Air Navigation Services Corporation will continue to invest in technology and leadership in air traffic management to maintain Dubai ‘s reputation in the civil aviation industry.

“Cloud technologies have led to a dramatic shift in the aerospace industry as automation and related systems have increased, which in turn has increased the risk of Internet attacks, which requires us to further develop safety standards.”

For his part, Vice President of Civil Security for the Middle East and Africa at the Swedish company SABB Aerospace Services that the UAE has revolutionized the world of air travel by adopting the latest technologies and innovations .. adding that there is an impressive surge and is inspiring to others in the information and resources as a result of digitization of The ground and air side and the operational tower of the airport’s environmental system.

A panel discussion on the privatization of air traffic control institutions and air navigation service providers was held. The speakers were the Chief Executive Officer of Gal Air Navigation Services, Chief Operating Officer of Saudi Air Navigation Services, Chief Operating Officer of SKY and Chief Operating Officer of Dubai Air Navigation Services Discussed the privatization of air traffic control institutions since it began in 1987.

There are currently more than 50 privatized air navigation service providers, or both or both. Speakers emphasized the need to raise operational excellence and accountability of ANSPs and agreed on the importance of the independence of air navigation service providers for airport operations to ensure efficiency and high levels of Safety and overcoming capacitive limitations.

Another panel discussion on the impact of digital tower technologies on operations for air traffic services and opportunities for increased capacity and efficiency and improved safety levels was held.
