25 teams qualify as finalists of the “Ma’an” Social Incubator Program

The Community Contribution Authority (Ma’an) announced that 25 candidates have qualified for the final project of the social incubator to present their projects to a specialized committee to select the 10 finalists participating in the program, which aims to develop innovative ideas and social projects and develop them into social institutions or civil institutions. The announcement of the names of the candidates after a fierce competition between more than 130 participation helps the owners to address the challenges facing them in the community, and provides them with innovative solutions that contribute to improve their lifestyle and achieve their aspirations. Ma’an has received applications from entrepreneurs and entrepreneurs in the UAE and around the world such as Brazil, Denmark, France, Nigeria and India.
The teams compete to reach the top ten, with ideas such as technology solutions, lifestyle improvements, services, education and entertainment to serve stakeholders and promote their integration into society.
The program will start in September and will provide more than AED 4.4 million in financial support to cover financing expenses, provide work space, provide guidance and access to investors.
The teams will be able to attend a workshop to train the teams on the principles and foundations of the development of successful social companies. Each team will then present its idea or social project to the jury at the end of August. The committee will then select the final ten teams that will join the social incubator program.
