32 Egyptian companies promote their products at “Gitex”

Egypt, represented by ITIDA, is participating in the GITEX 2018 event in Dubai. The Egyptian participation in the exhibition aims to enhance the opportunities of Egyptian companies in the strong presence in the Gulf market in line with the priorities of the strategy aimed at increasing exports of the information technology sector and associated services. The Egyptian pavilion, which is hosted by Sheikh Saeed Hall, has 32 exhibitors, including 8 emerging entities offering a range of innovative technology solutions and services, including business and enterprise solutions, ERP, integrated systems, network management solutions, call center services, outsourcing, mobile application development, E-government and other solutions. “The GCC market is one of the biggest attractive markets for Egyptian companies because of the confidence of decision-makers in the technical and linguistic capabilities of Egyptian youth and the innovative technological solutions offered by Egyptian companies in the Gulf countries,” said Maha Rashad, Acting Chief Executive Officer. The UAE is at the top of the list of Gulf countries where Egyptian companies exported technology products and services in 2017 by 56% according to the most recent statistics of the export support program of the Authority for 2017, pointing out that there are more than 65 Egyptian technological companies with branches in the UAE according to the rule Data of companies registered with the Authority. According to statistics published by the International Research and Data Corporation (IDC), the growth rate of Egyptian digital exports is 13.4% until 2020
