New World Bank funding for Egypt at $ 3 billion

Dr. Sahar Nasr, Minister of Investment and International Cooperation of Egypt, has reached an agreement with the World Bank to provide Egypt with new funding of $ 3 billion. The minister said in a statement that she discussed in Bali with Cristalina Girougeva, the World Bank’s Managing Director, during the joint meetings of the International Monetary Fund and the World Bank in Bali, the arrangements for the new financing, which comes within the framework of the World Bank’s confidence in the economic reform measures implemented by Egypt
