4 main transport stations for Dubai electricity worth AED 1.28 billion

Dubai Electricity and Water Authority (DEWA) has established contracts for the construction of four main transmission stations with a capacity of 400/132 kV at a time, with a total value of more than AED 1.28 billion to add to the total number of current stations from 21 stations to 25 stations Development projects aimed at enhancing and upgrading the transport network.
The projects included the awarding of a contract for the construction of the Canal Garden plant on the Gulf Solution SAS with a value of 314 million and 932 thousand and 395 dirhams in order to meet the growth requirements in the expected loads of the new projects and to reduce pressure on the areas of Garden and Al Barsha. February 2020.
The contract for the construction of Dubai South Station was awarded to Siemens at a value of 323 million and 38 thousand and 910 dirhams to meet the load growth requirements of the new 132 kV plants that are to be built within the Dubai World Central project. Completed by March 2020.
The contract for the establishment of the Dubai North station was awarded to Al Fanar Company worth 304 million and 544 thousand and 763 dirhams to meet the growing load requirements of the new 132 kV plants to be built for future expansions and additions to the new plants. 132 kV in the Dubai Airport area and is due to be completed by January 2021.
