The Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratisation announced the signing of 485 citizens and nationals for employment contracts and obtaining initial approvals to work for companies operating in the sectors of communications, technology, aviation, transportation, real estate development and service centers during two open days of recruitment organized by the Ministry in Fujairah on February 28 and March 1, In cooperation with the General Authority of Civil Aviation, the Securities and Commodities Authority, the Telecommunications Regulatory Authority and the TECOM Group.
Saif Ahmed Al Suwaidi, Deputy Undersecretary for Human Resources Affairs, said: “The two open days in the Emirate of Fujairah were implemented in accordance with the work agenda carried out by the Ministry in cooperation with its strategic partners in the federal and local government sectors and free zones organizing the work of the targeted economic sectors and companies operating in these sectors targets specific settlement acceleration within the third batch initiatives of government accelerator.
He explained that “job interviews were conducted for 996 citizens and citizens of job seekers during the two employment days, during which 17 companies operating in the economic sectors referred to about 700 job vacancies in a number of regions in the country and in various disciplines and professions including engineering, marketing, sales and customer service. And so on.
Al Suwaidi pointed out that the job seeker was given the opportunity to choose three job opportunities from the vacancies offered by the companies in implementation of the open day’s management strategy implemented by the ministry, where all the applicants for the job interviews were classified by the concerned persons in these companies according to their three choices. 96 nationals and nationals of employment contracts and 389 others were registered in the list of candidates with initial approval for employment, while 511 job seekers did not attend the job interviews.
