The Commission renewed in a press release that MEDIA has obtained a copy of it, inviting taxpayers to take advantage of the time limit granted by the Authority to exempt the business sectors in the late registration of value added tax from delay penalties until the 30th of next month due to lack of readiness of some work during the last period at the beginning of application In the framework of the Authority’s keenness to encourage compliance with the procedures and tax laws to avoid administrative fines.
The Commission explained that the business can access the website of the Federal Tax Authority: www.tax.gov.ae, and then choose the electronic services to create an account by pressing the “Registration”, and after obtaining the e-mail verification of the Registrar is entering into his account in the E-Services portal to start the three steps of registration by clicking on “Registration in VAT”. In the second step, all required fields marked with * are completed. The third and final step is to click on “Apply for approval” to apply for registration.
