5 new Chinese factories join the list of “global industrial beacons”

The World Economic Forum announced that 11 new factories have joined its global list of “industrial lighthouses”, including 5 factories located in China.
They are Catel Factory in Ibin, Haier Factory in Qingdao, Midea Factory in Shunde, Sany Factory in Changsha and Western Digital Factory in Shanghai.
The Chinese People’s Daily reported that the list of “industrial beacons” includes only 114 factories from around the world, 42 of which are in China, which is more than 30%; China has the largest number of factories on the list.
