Net foreign investment on the stock exchange increased by JD 5.3 million during the month of September 2018 compared to a decrease of JD 1.1 million for the same month of 2017.
The value of shares purchased by non-Jordanian investors during the trading in the stock exchange during the month of September amounted to 17.7 million Jordanian Dinars, representing 21.1% of the total trading volume.
The share of non-Jordanian investors in the listed companies at the end of September amounted to 49.1% of the total market value. The contribution of Arabs constituted 37.1%, while the non-Arab contribution constituted 12% of the total market value of the stock exchange.
