600 birds participate in the “Public Angel” competitions within the Fazza Falconry Championship

Dubai, December 30: The final “Al-Qarmousha Rounds” will be held tomorrow for the public, as part of the Fazza Championship for Falcon Hunting, “Al-Telwah”, which is organized by the Hamdan Bin Mohammed Center for Heritage Revival, and will continue until January 14, with financial prizes of more than 17 million dirhams.

The first three days of the public competitions witnessed strong competition between elite falconers, with the participation of more than 600 birds, in an atmosphere imbued with the fragrant Emirati heritage mixed with the spirit of challenge in the “smart tent” in which the competitions are held in the Al Ruwayyah area in Dubai, with the organizing committee continuing its efforts around the clock to support the efforts participants, provide all necessary facilities, and apply the highest standards and best technology to determine the final results.

The public competitions saw owners in the morning period today, Friday, for the Pure Gear category. Ahmed Rashid Al Khaili won the symbol Farkh Baltair “Al Shamimi” race with a time of 19,233 seconds, followed by Ahmed Ateeq Al Muhairi in the B41 bird with 19,632 seconds, and thirdly, Butti Marwan Al Marri with the “Rahi” bird with 19,684 seconds.

During the past two days, gear competitions were held, and in his runs Obaid Salem Al Ketbi won the symbol run for the chick with the bird “10” with a time of 17,243 seconds, followed by Ahmed Rashid Al Mansouri with the bird “Najm” with 17,314 seconds, and thirdly Rashid Ahmed Al Marri with the bird “Kahal” with 17,456 seconds.

And he excelled in the symbol run for the Gernas, Rashid Saeed Al Mansouri, with the “chivalrous” bird, with a time of 16,906 seconds, to be the first to break the 17-second barrier, followed by Matar Khalaf Al Mansouri, in the second and third places, with the “lightning” bird with 17,028 seconds and “Tari” with 17,068 seconds.

In the main round, Abdullah Mohammed Al-Amri achieved the first place with the “Muzahim” bird with a time of 17,931 seconds, followed by Tariq Al Shamsi with the “T3” bird with a time of 18,051 seconds, and third place was Mohammed Saeed Al Mansouri with the “T33” bird with 18,084 seconds.

In the main round, Jernas, Rashid Ghanem Al-Hajri with the bird “29” won with a time of 17,431 seconds, followed by Mubarak Salem Al-Marr with the “Dalmawi” bird with 17,579 seconds, and thirdly Fadel Ali Al-Mansoori with the “Columbus” bird with 17,660 seconds.

In the cash round, Farkh achieved first place, Mufleh Khalfan Al Mazrouei with the “H22” bird, with a time of 18,222 seconds, followed by Buti Ahmed Mejren with the “elite” bird, with 18,382 seconds, and thirdly Majid Musabah Al Ketbi, with the “remarkable” bird, with 18,957 seconds.

In the rest of the runs of the Jeer Shaheen category, Mohammed Khalfan Al-Mansoori excelled in the main round, with a time of 19,666 seconds, with a time of 19,666 seconds, followed by Saeed Muhammad Al Qaidi, with a 19,717 seconds, and Abdullah Rashid Al Mansouri with a 11, 19,889 seconds.

In the cash run, Saif Rashid Al Mazrouei achieved first place with the “053” bird, with a time of 20,742 seconds, followed by Saeed Hamad Al Mazrouei with the “Theeb” bird, with 21,115 seconds, then Faraj Ali Al Mazrouei, with the “Mareb” bird, with 21,150 seconds.

The championship will stop during the official state holiday on Sunday, January 1, and the competition will resume immediately after that, as public runs will be held from January 2 to January 5, open to the categories of “Gear Shaheen, Jeer Taba’a, Pure Gear and Qarmousha”, while the days of January 6 to 9 will be held for the same year. The four categories will be held on the 9th and 10th of January.
