Abu Dhabi Islamic Bank (ADIB) won seven new awards in the top two banks and finance deals at the Emia Finance Awards ceremony held in London.
Abu Dhabi Islamic Bank (ADIB) won the awards of Best Islamic Finance Bank and Islamic Financier for its successful completion of the $ 3 billion Fanco Financing Facility, , Commissioner and Director of Coverage in the insurance of the Islamic sector. Abu Dhabi Islamic Bank also won the ‘Best Murabaha Financing / Ijara Financing Deal’ award for its role as a key regulator of $ 1.25 billion multi-tranche financing for GEMS MENASA.
In the Structured Finance Awards category, the Bank won the prestigious “Best Structured Finance Bank in the Middle East” and “Best Structured Finance Deal in the Middle East” for its joint venture financing of $ 75.6 million for DAE. The deal was structured to receive new Boeing B-737 aircraft to be leased to EgyptAir as part of Egypt’s plan to expand its fleet.
In addition, Abu Dhabi Islamic Bank won the “Best IPO in Europe, Middle East and Africa” and the “Best Privatization Deal” in the Capital Markets category for its outstanding role in the successful IPO of ADNOC Distribution.
