According to a statistical report of the Jordanian Amman Chamber of Commerce, the total number of new establishments that joined the Chamber last year reached 7269 with a capital of JD383 million. The number of Jordanian establishments registered with the Chamber during the last year amounted to 7,259 with capital of 288 million dinars, With capital of 94 million dinars.
According to the report prepared by the chamber, the number of new partners in various sectors during the past year reached 6169 partners with capital of 450 million dinars, of which 5,570 Jordanian partners with capital of about 271 million dinars.
The new establishments were distributed to the ICT sectors with 510 establishments with a capital of 144 million dinars, clothing and jewelery and 733 establishments with a capital of 4 million dinars. Construction and construction materials accounted for 670 establishments with a capital of about 85 million dinars.
According to the report, 439 establishments with a capital of about 2 million dinars, health and medicines, 336 establishments with capital of 18 million dinars, and financial and banking sector with 28 companies with capital of about 9 million dinars.
686 establishments with capital of 2 million dinars, services and consultancy and others, 1501 establishments with a capital of about 58 million dinars, while the number of establishments that belong to the electricity and electronics sector reached 230 establishments.
