$ 900 million exports of Egyptian clothing in the current fiscal quarter

Egyptian ready-made garments exports reached 900 million dollars in the first quarter of this year, an increase of 19% over last year, which amounted to 2.7 billion dollars.
According to the garment room, it is expected that exports of clothing will reach $ 3.6 billion in the current year 2018.
While the Chamber aims to raise its exports to 5 billion dollars by 2019.
According to the chamber, the volume of Egyptian imports of ready-made garments and upholstery decreased to $ 4 billion from $ 5 billion last year, a decrease of 20%.
