Abu Dhabi Economic Forum participates in the annual investment forum in Dubai, April 9

The Abu Dhabi Investment Authority (ADIAD) is participating in the 2018 Annual Investment Forum, which will be held at the Dubai World Trade Center from 9 to 11 April.
Khalifa bin Salem Al Mansouri, Undersecretary of the Department, said that the office’s participation in this forum comes within the framework of its duties and responsibilities aimed at attracting more foreign direct investments to the Emirate of Abu Dhabi especially in the non-oil sectors, reflecting the theme of the forum to achieve partnerships for overall growth and sustainable development.
He pointed out that the volume of foreign direct investment flows in the Emirate of Abu Dhabi exceeded 95 billion dirhams, “25.9 billion dollars” in 2016 according to the Abu Dhabi Statistical Center “Abu Dhabi SCAD” while the Office of Abu Dhabi Investment will increase this value in the coming years by providing more opportunities and incentives Encouraging direct investment to the emirate of Abu Dhabi.
Khalifa Al Mansouri explained that the annual investment forum is an appropriate platform for Abu Dhabi Investment Office to promote the investment projects that characterize the emirate, especially in non-oil sectors represented in infrastructure projects, industry, small and medium enterprises, technology and innovation and others.
The Abu Dhabi Investment Office (ADIH) provides investors with valuable information on the investment environment in the Emirate of Abu Dhabi and data on all the economic sectors targeted and future projects in the emirate, as well as studying the investor’s needs, identifying the type of investments required and linking them to projects. Governmental and semi-governmental entities and the private sector, thus contributing to strengthening the relationship with the potential foreign investor.
