Abu Dhabi hosts “Sustainable Business Summit” April 17

The first edition of the Sustainable Business Summit 2018, which will feature a series of panel discussions, will be held on 17 April at Rosewood Abu Dhabi.
The Economist of The Economist organizes the Summit under the auspices of the Environment Agency – Abu Dhabi to encourage governments to create a political framework that will contribute to a more sustainable future as well as encourage the financial sector to establish sustainable business in the financial markets. Environmental initiatives applied worldwide.
The summit focused on the impact of economic growth in the environment, especially in the Middle East and North Africa, and how companies and the private sector can keep abreast of the region’s growth with sustainable development.
HE Khalifa Salem Al Mansouri, Undersecretary of the Department of Economic Development – Abu Dhabi, said that the Abu Dhabi Sustainable Business Summit reflects the policies and orientations of the Government of the Emirate of Abu Dhabi in supporting sustainable economic development, especially in the environment-related business sector.
He added that this summit is an opportunity to benefit from the experiences of governments, policy makers, entrepreneurs, scientists, academics and investors to share experiences and strategies on sustainable economic development, especially the environmental investment sector.
