Abu Dhabi’s non-oil foreign trade reached AED 170 billion in 2018, an increase of 6.8% compared to AED 156.2 billion in 2017.
The increase in the trade of the emirate was supported by the increase in the value of non-oil exports, which amounted to 27.7 billion dirhams last year, a growth of 23.8% compared to 22.3 billion dirhams in 2017. On a monthly basis, the value of exports in December rose by 3.6 billion dirhams compared to 1.7 billion dirhams in the same month of 2017.
