ADNOC Distribution is licensed to do business in Saudi Arabia

Abu Dhabi National Oil Distribution Company (ADNOC), the largest gas station operator and retailer in the UAE, has been granted a license to operate in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to acquire, operate and manage gas stations in the Kingdom.
The Ministry of Municipal and Rural Affairs of Saudi Arabia, which is responsible for organizing the gas stations sector in the Kingdom, granted the license to the company during an official signing ceremony held this week in Riyadh.
ADNOC Distribution has pledged to open a service station in Saudi Arabia in 2018 as part of its growth strategy to expand its refueling options, improve its retail stores and enhance its efficiency.
The signing ceremony was attended by Dr. Abdul Qader bin Othman, the Under-Secretary of the Ministry of Municipal and Rural Affairs for Technical Affairs and Abdullah Al-Mundhari from ADNOC Distribution.
Saeed Mubarak Al Rashidi, Chief Executive Officer of ADNOC, thanked the Ministry of Municipal and Rural Affairs for granting the company a license to practice business in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. “We will launch from our successful history of 45 years in the UAE To offer our customers in the Kingdom more choices and quality services while fully adhering to safety standards. ”
ADNOC Distribution is the leading fuel distributor and retail operator in the UAE with 67 per cent of the domestic market in terms of number of petrol stations.
