ADNOC intends to expand refining and petrochemicals

 Abu Dhabi National Oil Company (ADNOC) announced today its intention to expand refining and petrochemicals to take advantage of growing demand for high-value petrochemical derivatives and products, particularly in rapidly growing Asian markets.
Minister of State and Chief Executive Officer of Abu Dhabi National Oil Company (ADNOC) and its group of companies, said at the Serea Week, one of the most important international events in the oil and gas sector.
“The ADNOC Strategic 2030 Smart Growth Plan, with an emphasis on refining and petrochemicals, is a key player in the field of refining and petrochemicals, while ensuring operational flexibility that allows rapid response to market demand changes.
In line with its new refining and petrochemical strategy, ADNOC plans to build the world’s largest integrated oil refining and petrochemical processing complex in Ruwais, UAE, where the company will triple its petrochemical production to 14.4 million tonnes per year 2025.
ADNOC plans to hold the Investment and Refining Investment Forum on 13 and 14 May in Abu Dhabi, where it will review the opportunities for cooperation and investment available to strengthen its refining and petrochemicals portfolio.
