ADNOC’s oil production capacity is estimated at 3.3 million barrels per day

MEDIA IN, Abu Dhabi, July 3, 2018 (WAM)

 Abu Dhabi National Oil Company (ADNOC) today confirmed that it currently has an oil capacity of about 3.3 million barrels per day (bpd), adding that it will continue its march to increase production capacity to 3.5 million bpd by the end of 2018. ADNOC has the ability to increase its oil production by hundreds of thousands of barrels per day, giving the company flexibility to use this capacity if needed to help reduce any potential shortage of market supplies. The company confirmed that through coordination and close cooperation with the Ministry of Energy and Industry is ready to increase production in coordination with the Organization of Petroleum Exporting Countries “OPEC” and the Joint Ministerial Committee to control the production of oil to Member States and non-members of the Organization.
