ADX closed in Green Zone on Tuesday

The Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange (ADX) closed Tuesday’s trading session on a positive note.

The ADX’s general index added 44.78 points, or 0.85%, finishing the session at 5,343.86 points.

Trading volume stood at 106.890 million shares exchanged at a turnover of AED 338.402 million through 2,814 transactions.

Market capitalisation gained AED 5.05 million and closed the session at AED 545.388 billion.

The real estate, the telecommunication, and the banks sector went up 5.58%, 1.60%, and 0.33&, respectively.

Meanwhile, the energy sector was the sole decliner with a decrease of 0.43%.

First Abu Dhabi Bank’s (FAB) was the most heavily traded stock with a turnover of AED 92.215 million.
