DFM gained 2,832.53 points on Tuesday

The DFM’s general index jumped 57.66 points, or 2.08%, finishing the session 2,832.53 points.

This was its highest level in eight months on Tuesday on the back of Emaar Properties’ stock.

Trading volume stood at 273.671 million shares exchanged at a turnover of AED 385.226 million through 4,148 transactions.

Market capitalisation gained AED 5.76 million and closed the session at AED 368.811 billion.

The real estate sector led the rising sector with an increase of 3.41%, backed by Emaar Properties that jumped 4.04% to AED 5.15.

The banks, the investment and financial services, and the consumer goods sectors went up by 1.28%, 1.11%, and 0.80, respectively.

Emaar Properties was the most active stock in terms of liquidity with a turnover of AED 88.769 million.
