AED 1.132 trillion worth of interbank transfers within two months

 The total value of remittances executed between banks operating in the UAE through the UAE Exchange System (UEFTS) was 1.132 trillion dirhams in January and February of this year, according to the Central Bank of UAE today, through statistics issued by the movement of transfers executed between the device Banker in the state.
The value of interbank transfers during the first two months of 2018 is about 13 percent of the total value of remittances recorded in 2017, which amounted to 8.7 trillion dirhams, according to preliminary reading of the Central Bank of Statistics.
The value of transfers between banks since the beginning of this year amounted to 604.3 trillion dirhams in January, while the value during the month of February of the same year 528.23 trillion dirhams ..
On the other hand, the value of cash deposits with the UAE Central Bank amounted to 36.7 billion dirhams during January and February of this year, of which 36.683 billion dirhams deposits in paper currency and about 16 million dirhams in coins and according to the bank’s statistics issued today.
The value of cash deposits reached about 15.2 billion dirhams during February, reaching about 21.5 billion dirhams
