An agreement between ADNOC Logistics and Services and INPEX to cooperate in supplying ships with liquefied natural gas (LNG) fuel

ADNOC Logistics and Services Company (INPEX) today signed a framework agreement to discuss ways of joint cooperation in the supply of liquefied natural gas (LNG) ships in the UAE.
Under the agreement, ADNOC Logistics and Services, the wholly-owned subsidiary of Abu Dhabi National Oil Company (ADNOC) and INPEX, will collaborate in the supply of liquefied natural gas (LNG) vessels in the UAE and the possibility of joint expansion of activities in this area to cover Other regions, including Southeast Asia.
The use of liquefied natural gas (LNG) as ship fuel is expected to grow significantly as shipowners seek new fueling solutions to meet the IMO’s requirements to reduce sulfur dioxide emissions for 2020. The UAE has a strategic position as a major ship refueling hub, As a reliable LNG producer and exporter through ADNOC LNG.
