Ajman Municipality Supervisory Board reviews its projects for clients

The Supervisory Board of the Municipality and Planning Department in Ajman reviewed the strategy of 2019-2021 and the services projects and initiatives provided to the general public to improve performance.
This came during the first meeting of the Council under the chairmanship of Sheikh Rashid Bin Humaid Al Nuaimi, Head of the Municipality and Planning Department in Ajman and the presence of HE Abdulrahman Mohammed Al Nuaimi, Vice President of the Council, Independent and Executive Members and Secretary of the Council.
Sheikh Rashid bin Humaid Al Nuaimi said that this council is part of the governance framework in the department and aims to adopt the practices in the boards of directors of private bodies and sectors to promote the work in the government sector.
The meeting tackled the achievements of the department in the field of automation of its services and digital transformation and resulted in the transformation of dealers from the use of channel personal presence of the centers of customers to use the channel website and smart applications.
The strategy of 2019-2021, which includes a number of guidelines for its development such as Ajman Vision 2021, the National Agenda and the federal government’s directions such as artificial intelligence, foresight, financial efficiency, etc., was also presented.
The strategic framework for strategic planning, which includes corporate vision, mission and values, primarily customer focus, was also reviewed. It also includes a strategic map with 5 sectoral goals, 10 strategic objectives, 4 strategic objectives, 14 sectoral indicators and 36 strategic performance indicators.
The meeting addressed projects and initiatives to achieve strategic objectives 2019-2021, totaling 37 projects and initiatives.
