“Apache International” strengthens its partnership in the fields of oil and gas in Egypt

Egyptian Minister of Petroleum and Mineral Resources Tariq al-Mulla discussed with APA CEO John Christman the activities of the company in Egypt and its targeted investment plans in the coming years in the fields of research, exploration and production of oil and gas.
Al-Mulla said in statements after the meeting that they discussed the developments of the oil and gas industry regionally and globally and the most important results achieved by the Egyptian petroleum sector during the recent period and the economic reforms taken by the State to encourage and attract more investments in this sector.
He pointed out that the meeting also discussed the investment opportunities available to the company in the fields of research, exploration and production in the areas of Egypt, whether land or sea.
For his part, the CEO of Apache said that he reviewed with the Egyptian Minister of Petroleum the mechanisms of the company’s work to increase production rates using the latest technologies to counter the natural decline in the productivity of wells in the concession areas .. He pointed to the company’s commitment to plans and investment programs to intensify research and exploration and development of discovered fields, That the new financial year will witness an ambitious exploration program, including the drilling of 50 wells through the companies of Qarun and Khaleda.
