Central Bank of Bahrain Treasury Bills issue 58 oversubscribed by 233%

Media IN Manama, June 25 2019 (BNA):

The Central Bank of Bahrain (CBB) announced that this month’s BD100 million issue of Government Treasury Bills has been oversubscribed by 233%.

The bills, carrying a maturity of 12 months, are issued by the CBB, on behalf of the Kingdom of Bahrain.

The issue date of the bills is 27th June, 2019 and the maturity date is 25th June, 2020.

The weighted average rate of interest is 3.26% compared to 3.51%, for the previous issue on 30th May, 2019.

The approximate average price for the issue was 96.810% with the lowest accepted price being 96.771%.
