Chinese customs duties on 128 US products

The Chinese Ministry of Commerce announced today the imposition of tariffs on a list of 128 US products worth $ 3 billion, after Beijing waved this measure in March in response to the imposition of US President Donald Trump customs duties on imports of steel and aluminum products from a number of countries Including China.
The statement, issued by the Chinese Ministry of Commerce, said the decision came into force on Monday after the Chinese Diet was approved by the Chinese Diet. A 15 per cent charge will be levied on 120 products, including nuts and steel pipes, and 25 per cent on eight other products, including aluminum wood.
